Jer 9:1 ああ、わたしの頭が水となり、わたしの目が涙の泉となればよいのに。そうすれば、わたしは民の娘の殺された者のために昼も夜も嘆くことができる。

Jer 9:2 ああ、わたしが荒野に、隊商の宿を得ることができればよいのに。そうすれば、わたしは民を離れて去って行くことができる。彼らはみな姦淫する者、不信のともがらだからである。

Oh that [05414] I had in the wilderness [04057] a lodging place [04411] of wayfaring men [0732]; that I might leave [05800] my people [05971], and go [03212] from them! for they be all adulterers [05003], an assembly [06116] of treacherous men [0898].
Jer 9:3 彼らは弓をひくように、その舌を曲げる。真実ではなく、偽りがこの地に強くなった。彼らは悪より悪に進み、またわたしを知らないと、主は言われる。

And they bend [01869] their tongues [03956] like their bow [07198] for lies [08267]: but they are not valiant [01396] for the truth [0530] upon the earth [0776]; for they proceed [03318] from evil [07451] to evil [07451], and they know [03045] not me, saith [05002] the Lord [03068].
Jer 9:4 あなたがたはおのおの隣り人に気をつけよ。どの兄弟をも信じてはならない。兄弟はみな、押しのける者であり、隣り人はみな、ののしって歩く者だからである。

Take ye heed [08104] every one [0376] of his neighbour [07453], and trust [0982] ye not in any brother [0251]: for every brother [0251] will utterly [06117] supplant [06117], and every neighbour [07453] will walk [01980] with slanders [07400].neighbour: or, friend
Jer 9:5 人はみな、その隣り人を欺き、真実を言う者はない。彼らは自分の舌に偽りを言うことを教え、悪を行い、疲れて悔い改めるいとまもなく、

Jer 9:6 しえたげに、しえたげを積み重ね、偽りに偽りを積み重ね、わたしを知ることを拒んでいると、主は言われる。

Thine habitation [03427] is in the midst [08432] of deceit [04820]; through deceit [04820] they refuse [03985] to know [03045] me, saith [05002] the Lord [03068].
Jer 9:7 それゆえ万軍の主はこう言われる、「見よ、わたしは彼らを溶かし、試みる。このほか、わが民をどうすることができよう。

Therefore thus saith [0559] the Lord [03068] of hosts [06635], Behold, I will melt [06884] them, and try [0974] them; for how shall I do [06213] for [06440] the daughter [01323] of my people [05971]?
Jer 9:8 彼らの舌は殺す矢のようだ、それは偽りを言う。その口ではおのおの隣り人におだやかに語るが、その心では彼を待ち伏せる計りごとを立てる。

Jer 9:9 主は言われる、これらのことのために、わたしが彼らを罰しないだろうか。わたしがこのような民にあだを返さないだろうか。

Shall I not visit [06485] them for these things? saith [05002] the Lord [03068]: shall not my soul [05315] be avenged [05358] on such a nation [01471] as this?
Jer 9:10 山のために泣き叫び、野の牧場のために悲しめ。これらは荒れすたれて、通り過ぎる人もない。ここには牛、羊の鳴く声も聞えず、空の鳥も獣も皆逃げ去った。

For the mountains [02022] will I take up [05375] a weeping [01065] and wailing [05092], and for the habitations [04999] of the wilderness [04057] a lamentation [07015], because they are burned up [03341], so that none [0376] can pass [05674] through them; neither can men hear [08085] the voice [06963] of the cattle [04735]; both the fowl [05775] of the heavens [08064] and the beast [0929] are fled [05074]; they are gone [01980].habitations: or, pasturesburned up: or, desolateboth…: Heb. from the fowl even to, etc
Jer 9:11 わたしはエルサレムを荒塚とし、山犬の巣とする。またユダの町々を荒して、住む人もない所とする」。

And I will make [05414] Jerusalem [03389] heaps [01530], and a den [04583] of dragons [08577]; and I will make [05414] the cities [05892] of Judah [03063] desolate [08077], without an inhabitant [03427].desolate: Heb. desolation
Jer 9:12 知恵があって、これを悟ることのできる人はだれか。主の口の言葉をうけて、それを示す人はだれか。この地が滅ぼされて荒野のようになり、通り過ぎる人もなくなったのはどういうわけか。

Who is the wise [02450] man [0376], that may understand [0995] this? and who is he to whom the mouth [06310] of the Lord [03068] hath spoken [01696], that he may declare [05046] it, for what the land [0776] perisheth [06] and is burned up [03341] like a wilderness [04057], that none passeth through [05674]?
Jer 9:13 主は言われる、「それは彼らの前にわたしが立てたおきてを彼らが捨てて、わたしの声に聞き従わず、そのとおりに歩かなかったからである。

And the Lord [03068] saith [0559], Because they have forsaken [05800] my law [08451] which I set [05414] before [06440] them, and have not obeyed [08085] my voice [06963], neither walked [01980] therein;
Jer 9:14 彼らは強情に自分の心に従い、また先祖の教えたようにバアルに従った。

But have walked [03212] after [0310] the imagination [08307] of their own heart [03820], and after [0310] Baalim [01168], which their fathers [01] taught [03925] them:imagination: or, stubbornness
Jer 9:15 それゆえ万軍の主、イスラエルの神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしはこの民に、にがよもぎを食べさせ、毒の水を飲ませ、

Therefore thus saith [0559] the Lord [03068] of hosts [06635], the God [0430] of Israel [03478]; Behold, I will feed [0398] them, even this people [05971], with wormwood [03939], and give them water [04325] of gall [07219] to drink [08248].
Jer 9:16 彼らも、その先祖たちも知らなかった国びとのうちに彼らを散らし、また彼らを滅ぼし尽すまで、そのうしろに、つるぎをつかわす」。

I will scatter [06327] them also among the heathen [01471], whom neither they nor their fathers [01] have known [03045]: and I will send [07971] a sword [02719] after [0310] them, till I have consumed [03615] them.
Jer 9:17 万軍の主はこう言われる、「よく考えて、泣き女を呼べ。また人をつかわして巧みな女を招け。

Thus saith [0559] the Lord [03068] of hosts [06635], Consider [0995] ye, and call [07121] for the mourning women [06969], that they may come [0935]; and send [07971] for cunning [02450] women, that they may come [0935]:
Jer 9:18 彼らに急いでこさせ、われわれのために泣き悲しませて、われわれの目に涙をこぼさせ、まぶたから水をあふれさせよ。

And let them make haste [04116], and take up [05375] a wailing [05092] for us, that our eyes [05869] may run down [03381] with tears [01832], and our eyelids [06079] gush out [05140] with waters [04325].
Jer 9:19 シオンから悲しみの声が聞える。それは言う、『ああ、われわれは滅ぼされ、いたく、はずかしめられている。われわれはその地を去り、彼らがわれわれのすみかをこわしたからだ』」。

For a voice [06963] of wailing [05092] is heard [08085] out of Zion [06726], How are we spoiled [07703]! we are greatly [03966] confounded [0954], because we have forsaken [05800] the land [0776], because our dwellings [04908] have cast us out [07993].
Jer 9:20 女たちよ、主の言葉を聞け。あなたがたの耳に、その口の言葉をいれよ。あなたがたの娘に悲しみの歌を教え、おのおのその隣り人に哀悼の歌を教えよ。

Yet hear [08085] the word [01697] of the Lord [03068], O ye women [0802], and let your ear [0241] receive [03947] the word [01697] of his mouth [06310], and teach [03925] your daughters [01323] wailing [05092], and every one [0802] her neighbour [07468] lamentation [07015].
Jer 9:21 死がわれわれの窓に上って来、われわれの邸宅の中にはいり、ちまたにいる子どもらを絶やし、広場にいる若い人たちを殺そうとしているからだ。

For death [04194] is come up [05927] into our windows [02474], and is entered [0935] into our palaces [0759], to cut off [03772] the children [05768] from without [02351], and the young men [0970] from the streets [07339].
Jer 9:22 あなたはこう言いなさい、「主は言われる、『人の死体が糞土のように、野に倒れているようになり、また刈入れする人のうしろに残って、だれも集めることをしない束のようになる』」。

Speak [01696], Thus saith [05002] the Lord [03068], Even the carcases [05038] of men [0120] shall fall [05307] as dung [01828] upon the open [06440] field [07704], and as the handful [05995] after [0310] the harvestman [07114], and none shall gather [0622] them.
Jer 9:23 主はこう言われる、「知恵ある人はその知恵を誇ってはならない。力ある人はその力を誇ってはならない。富める者はその富を誇ってはならない。

Thus saith [0559] the Lord [03068], Let not the wise [02450] man glory [01984] in his wisdom [02451], neither let the mighty [01368] man glory [01984] in his might [01369], let not the rich [06223] man glory [01984] in his riches [06239]:
Jer 9:24 誇る者はこれを誇とせよ。すなわち、さとくあって、わたしを知っていること、わたしが主であって、地に、いつくしみと公平と正義を行っている者であることを知ることがそれである。わたしはこれらの事を喜ぶと、主は言われる」。

But let him that glorieth [01984] glory [01984] in this, that he understandeth [07919] and knoweth [03045] me, that I am the Lord [03068] which exercise [06213] lovingkindness [02617], judgment [04941], and righteousness [06666], in the earth [0776]: for in these things I delight [02654], saith [05002] the Lord [03068].
Jer 9:25 主は言われる、「見よ、このような日が来る。その日には、割礼をうけても、心に割礼をうけていないすべての人をわたしは罰する。

Behold, the days [03117] come [0935], saith [05002] the Lord [03068], that I will punish [06485] all them which are circumcised [04135] with the uncircumcised [06190];punish: Heb. visit upon
Jer 9:26 エジプト、ユダ、エドム、アンモンの人々、モアブ、および野にいて、髪の毛のすみずみをそる人々はそれである。これらの国びとはみな割礼をうけていない者であり、イスラエルの全家もみな心に割礼をうけていない者である」。
